Chess

In the beginning of this film, we meet a man named Akira.
He is a chess champion, which means he is really skilled at the game.
In this game, his intelligence is quite acute.

that he can think and execute three distinct moves in one second.
Today, he is playing chess with a supercomputer, a powerful and fast computer.
It is so quick that it can conceive of around 200 million potential moves in a second in this game.
Akira has never lost a chess match, making him not only the best in his country but also the global champion.
Today, when he plays chess, everyone’s attention is drawn to him due to his troubled expression.
Previously, he had never had to consider as much.
He was seated, holding his head, as his record shattered.
Because he has never lost at chess, but now he loses to a supercomputer.
Seeing this, everyone around him begins to mock him.
He is quite sorry to witness this.
And because it was his first setback, he crumbles totally.
He had lost his mind, gone absolutely insane.
That is why he destroys the chessboard on which these guys were playing the game.
Time goes in this manner, and three years pass.
After his defeat, Akira abandoned the game and never played chess again.
Nobody knew where he went following that day.
After then, we observe Akira sleeping on the side of the road, inebriated.
Following that day, he spent all of his money on gaming and drink.
And he always lays on the roadways in this manner.
And suddenly a vehicle approaches and stops in front of him, and two people get out.
They grab Akira and begin violently taking him with them.
Following this, he is escorted to a nice home where he meets an elderly guy.
He tells Akira that he recognizes her, but she has likely altered her name and disguised herself.
But I know exactly who you are.
Hearing this, Akira asks, “Then tell me who I am.”
He refers to a well-known chess champion who retired after a defeat.
The man was referring to Akira’s decision to conceal his identity and avoid social interaction.
The old man claims he merely wants to play chess with you.
Saying thus, he shows him the chess.
Seeing this, Akira’s health begins to worsen.
He appeared to dislike chess a lot.
He cannot even see it.
That is why he replies, “No, I can’t play; I have to leave here.”
The old guy comments that the last time you played a computer game, he spent all his money on your success.
But because you lost that game, I suffered a number of defeats.
However, because you do not have any money, you are unable to pay for it.
That is why I want you to play chess with me.
On which he does not respond.
When the elderly man notices his stillness, he pulls up his king, or pawn, and declares defeat, stating that he lost the game without playing.
Akira responds, “No, keep my king; I’ll play this game.”
He was ready to play the game, but he still did not glance at the chessboard.
He informs the old guy of his relocation.
The aged guy then imitates his movement.
This demonstrates his expertise in the game, as he can play without observing.
He glances out the window and notices a roadside chessboard.
On which actual humans stand in lieu of pawns.
And they are in the same position as Akira, and the old man’s game involves pawns.
The observer feels astonished and unsure of the situation.
In the following move, the old man kills Akira’s player.
After his pawn is slain, a guy rushes forward and murders the person standing in his place.
When he notices this, he becomes quite worried and asks the elderly guy, “What is going on here?”
Is this a joke?
The old guy responds, “Don’t be sad; he was just a player.”
In any case, when playing the game, we should set aside our emotions.
And should focus on winning the game.
Akira goes down and notices that all of the men are still standing in the same stance.
That is why he runs and approaches the man who has been stabbed with a knife.
Where that man was counting his final breaths.
Surprisingly, he shows no signs of sadness or remorse on his face.
In fact, he asks Akira, “What are your next steps?”
And as soon as he says this, he dies, smiling.
The men who had been standing in the position of the pawns then left.
A woman begins screaming after seeing Akira.
Because she believed Akira had slain the man because he held a knife.
Now he goes directly to his doctor, who treated his brain three years ago.
Due to strain from losing the chess game, he had a loss of mental equilibrium.
He was preoccupied with chess and had frequent unpleasant dreams as a result.
In which he used to see the chess pawns (horse, elephant, king, and queen) marching towards him to kill him.
And then, gradually, he began to see all of this in his daily life.
He has always equated his life with chess, where he is the king and his wife the queen.
So, after losing the game, he decided to leave his wife forever.
Because he began to believe that I may not be worthy of her.
Anyway, the doctor inquires as to where you have been for the last three years after the therapy.
Later, he confides in him and tells him all that has occurred to him.
I had spent all of my money on gaming and was now laying on the road.
He also informs the doctor about the elderly man with whom he was playing chess.
In such a game, a real person perished.
Hearing this, the doctor believes it is merely Akira’s illusion.
Before Akira tells the doctor anything further, his printer produces a print.
Whose image depicted a chess board with a message indicating the next move?
So, what is your next move?
Akira realizes that the game he initiated with the elderly guy is still going on.
As a result, he says I want my player to go to another position on E3.
In the next print, it is said that after reaching E3, the queen of the old man kills Akira’s horse.
Then everything is precisely the same.
The following instant, Akira’s doctor begins to die.
Upon seeing this, he becomes terrified and wonders how the doctor can be a horseplayer.
He sees a photograph of the doctor seated on a horse.
As a result, he recognizes the doctor as the horse in my game.
Akira notices a chess board on the cup used by the doctor for sipping tea.
This implied that something was mixed into the tea, which caused the doctor to die.
The doctor’s nurse approached Akira after his death and asked the same question.
That is, what are the following steps?
When he sees this, he becomes terrified.
He was so afraid that he begins fleeing from there.
A youngster approaches him, holding a photograph of his chess game.
That is, throughout his chess game, the identical image was created where his players stood.
That youngster also asks Akira about the next step.
Akira responds that he wants his king to move to the 8(O) position box.
On which the youngster warns that if you do this, your king will be murdered.
This implied that Akira himself would be slain.
Because he was the king of the game.
When he sees this, he says nothing and flees in terror.
He starts to ponder about the victims who were slaughtered in front of him.
In addition, he realizes that all the chess players are plotting to assassinate him.
After fleeing, he arrives at the parking lot and notices that the automobiles are arranged similarly to a chess board.
That is, in the chess game, both his and the elderly man’s players are standing.
He is now attempting to flee by getting into a car.
However, instead of traveling straight, his automobile starts tilting.
Because, according to his game, this automobile represents Akira’s camel.
So he gets out of that automobile and sits in the second car, which was his elephant.
But the automobile doesn’t even start.
Because it is now the old man’s time to play, rather than his.
The automobile then starts heading towards Akira’s car.
This was truly the elderly man’s elephant.
He hits Akira’s automobile, so killing his elephant.
Then Akira leaves here and returns to his former residence.
Where it was said that this residence was for sale.
In fact, in chess, the elephant is also known as the castle.
In some ways, Akira’s residence resembles both a castle and an elephant.
Following the death of his elephant, it was confiscated and taken away from him.
Now Akira understands everything.
He begins to believe my wife’s life is in danger since she is a queen to him.
He approaches the old guy again and inquires about his wife’s whereabouts.
The old guy responds, “I don’t know.”
But, if you choose, you can remove your king and end the game.
That is, giving up on the game.
Hearing this, Akira recalls the day he lost chess to the computer.
People made so much fun of him.
That is why he decides not to depose the king.
In reality, I’ll play the game with the elderly man.
That’s why he approaches and sits in front of him.
And now these two begin playing the game.
They murder each other’s pieces, or pawns, one by one.
That is, they eliminate all players.
And now Akira’s game is in better shape.
He will check the old man’s king in the next two moves, causing him to lose the game.
But suddenly two guys arrive and whisk Akira away.
They take him to a large stadium where there is a large chess match.
But in this game, their pawns are actual humans.
The old man informs Akira that in the past, the king used to play chess with real prisoners.
They and their prisoners did not experience such sentiments or emotions.
Anyway, now it is Akira’s chance to move.
In his next two moves, he planned to check the old man’s king, causing the latter to lose the game.
The old man and Akira, both kings on their respective sides, now take their proper positions.
Akira’s first move involves moving his horse, followed by a second move to defeat the old man.
The old man warns him that moving his horse would result in the death of his queen by elephant.
When the queen is unveiled, Akira realizes she is his wife, whom he is afraid of because if he moves with the knight (horse), she will be killed.
Akira comes forward to save his wife, but the man above shoots him and tells him he can’t leave the box.
The old man emphasizes that emotions have no place in the game of chess.
Avoid thinking about your wife and focus on winning the game instead of those emotions.
Akira declines, stating that he loves his wife and wants to save her.
Instead of moving his horse, he takes a different position and approaches a player in the opposite box to save his wife.
And it is now clear that by doing so, he has lost.
The player in front of Akira kills him with a knife, causing him to fall to the ground. This symbolizes his acceptance of defeat to save his wife and sacrifice.
When Akira loses, the old man cheers him on, prompting Akira’s wife to do the same.
Many people came to clap for Akira, including his doctor, who had passed away. Other people also died in front of him.
Akira wakes up and realizes he was not stabbed by the spring knife used by the player who killed him.
Akira’s brain treatment included all of this, indicating that it was an integral part of his healing process.
The old man who was playing the game with Akira was the inventor of the supercomputer. Akira’s mental balance deteriorated after losing to it.
The old man wanted to help him because he created the supercomputer. However, as a champion of the game, he became dissatisfied with it.
The old man explains that you thought you were playing with him, but you were actually playing with the supercomputer.
I simply followed the computer’s instructions. However, if you used your emotions in a chess game, such as making a sacrifice to save your wife, the supercomputer may struggle to understand. As a result, you won the game.
Akira is overjoyed that I won the game, even if it was solely due to my emotions. Defeating such a powerful computer makes Akira feel completely fine.
His mental balance, which had deteriorated, was now fully restored.
In happiness, the husband and wife hug each other, and everyone around them starts clapping for them and Akira’s victory.
From this story, we learn that even if the value of emotions is not in this game, but it is very important in real life, it can save you from running away from your beloved, because if you show your emotions and feelings for them.
then he will also value you and he will never leave you.
Apart from this, we should play the game as a game, then whether anyone loses or wins in it, that means you lose or win, you should not care, because this is just a game, if you question it on your head, then its outcome will not be right.
As you have seen in this story, how Akira made himself a mental patient by questioning the game on his mind, because there is a lot of difference between the game and real life, both are completely different from each other.
There is no importance in the real life of the game.
With this message, this movie story ends here. I hope you liked the story.
