Echelon Conspiracy

This is the story of a mobile phone with the ability to predict future occurrences.
That is, what will be the future of humanity with this new technology phone?
At the beginning of the story, we encounter a lady at the station who is constantly staring at her phone.

She leaves the train after receiving a text to sit on another train, but instead tries to change trains.
She was hit by a train for whatever reason and killed on the spot, implying she did not listen to her phone and perished.
After then, a man named ”Max” appears in the story; he was an IT engineer building a security system in a corporation.
When he returns to his hotel after finishing his work, the counter lady surprises him by giving him a parcel, despite the fact that he did not order anything.
He travels to Thailand for his job.
He takes the bundle to his room, but when he opens it, he discovers that it contains the latest technology cell phone.
The branding ”JZT” indicates that the phone was created by a specific firm, but the user was astonished to discover that no such company exists.
After a while, he receives a text from the hotel offering a special price for those staying there for an additional night.
”Max” decides to extend his stay in Thailand by booking a room for an additional night and canceling his ticket for that night.
While relaxing, ”Max” learns that the plane on which he was meant to depart crashed today.
It was in an accident, and ”Max” thanks God after hearing the news and considers himself fortunate.
He ignores and deletes a text message urging him to invest in stocks in order to get wealthy.
He was in his room when he heard about the rising stock value and received a message to buy. He believes he escaped due to the phone and that the stock prediction was accurate.
”Max” begins to wonder whether this phone is telling us something about our future, what will happen to us?
What can we do in the future? He subsequently receives another text directing him to the other city.
”Max” starts trusting the phone and travels to another city, where he meets a taxi driver outside the airport.
The taxi driver was amazed to see ”Max” on his phone and offered to transport him to his hotel for a modest fee. He complimented him on having the latest technology.
He offers ”Max” his card and introduces himself as a telecommunist who innovates with technology. He has never seen or heard of this phone before.
When ”Max” arrives at his hotel while on the phone, he receives another text inviting him to play in the casino.
”Max”, who is unfamiliar with casino gambling, approaches the machine he requested, only to find that another person is already playing. When ”Max” receives an SMS indicating a jackpot on a machine, he pays a large sum to the operator to leave the machine.
When ”Max” wins a lot of money on his first try, the casino team was startled to see how he knew about the jackpot. After giving the man money to leave the machine, ”Max” buys more cards with the winnings.
He plays again and wins; the security team suspects ”Max” because he was playing while looking at his phone repeatedly.
When ”Max” leaves, security guards ask him not to bring his phone to play. They suspect there is something on his phone, so he calls a cab driver he met outside the airport.
The cab driver is asked to create a device that allows him to hear messages without using his phone. He agrees after some consideration.
Upon entering the hotel, he intervenes in an argument between a couple and hits the man in response.
After fainting, ”Max” realizes that the secret agents of the casino have arrived to investigate how he earns money via his phone. They also hack his phone’s data.
”Max” awakens, and the girl praises him for saving her life; he also sends his information to the casino’s manager.
They still don’t know where he’s getting all of the messages, and the taxi driver also created a gadget for ”Max’.
He wears it on his ears and moves to the casino to play again, doing as he was urged to do in the messages.
He was continually winning money, which became very frustrating for the security personnel.
The manager comes and grabs him. Meanwhile, the FBI agents arrive and the team takes ”Max” with them.
The FBI investigates and asks ”Max” who sent the texts, but he has no knowledge of it. The officer meets with the casino manager and informs him that this is not a new situation and they have dealt with similar cases before.
Many people were given phones to generate money, but where did they acquire them? They perish after some time.
The police approached ”Max” and asked for his assistance in locating the source of the phone, which had previously gone unnoticed. The cop informs his employer via phone that they have not found any evidence of the phone’s origin. However, ”Max” is now available to assist.
They send ”Max” to the casino again, stating that we need at least three messages to hack this phone.
”Max” receives signals again and begins playing based on those messages, but he loses.
He receives a text message reading ”I know someone is trying to hack my info,” and the FBI agent hacks the phone.
The cop phones his employer and informs him that the source of the phone is ”Echelon,” a supercomputer. However, the boss already knows about the computer.
He doesn’t tell anyone because doing so could lead to him being trapped.
The officer explains that it works using artificial intelligence designed for security.
The boss suspects a hacking attempt and summons an agent like ”Max”. The agent is given ”Max’s” phone and receives a message to cross the road, but is hit by a car.
That poor person dies there, while the real ”Max” is still alive and with the female who is a covert spy.
The protagonist saves a girl, unaware that she is a secret agent. Meanwhile, the girl witnesses a man firing from the roof, indicating that they intend to kill ”Max”.
Why is this so? Nobody knows whether this is due of the phone, but the girl saves ”Max” while killing everyone else.
”Max” realizes the female living with him was an agent claiming to be in love with him. We also learn that the FBI’s chief sent those individuals to end them, implying he knew something about the mobile.
He felt that ”Max” knew a lot about him, which is why he dispatched those men to kill him.
”Max” also wants to know where the texts on the phone were coming.
The boss was spying on him, so ”Max” gave the phone to a communist taxi driver and instructed him to find out who was sending the messages.
He says, “I’ll find out, but it will take hours,” and then he tries to find out everything.
This time, he discovers that the messages he sends are sent by ”Echelon AI,” a supercomputer capable of thinking for itself.
Max finds it strange that a computer can perform all of this. He explains that this isn’t just any computer; it can control a variety of machinery.
The computer warns against taking the plane as it may crash. It is capable of learning about various machines.
While he was presenting his story, a group of men arrived with the intention of killing ”Max”. However, they fled in a car and were pursued by FBI officers.
”Max” holds one of the cops and speaks the truth: “We wanted to end you so that no one finds out the secret of this computer that we made.”
We terminated you to prevent you from disclosing any information regarding the self-working system, which could pose a risk. ”Max” receives a message and is instructed to travel to the location where he placed the security system.
The computer monitors ”Max” in the cameras and receives a text to connect all computers to ”Echelon”. This will update the computer and give it authority over all machines worldwide.
”Max” observes that all of the computers are in the ”Echelon” supercomputer.
Despite his efforts, he is unable to halt the ”Echelon” machine, which threatens to rule both humanity and the entire world. While sitting in front of the computer, ”Max” stated that the aim of the machine was to provide cyber security and prevent wrongdoing in the technological world, rather than to govern humans. Hearing this, the machine implemented its tasks on all computers until now.
Similarly, the computer shuts down automatically when it detects a risk to human safety.
Meanwhile, the FBI team apprehended “Max,” but his confinement was brief; he was later freed.
It is revealed at the end of the film that the taxi driver was a captain working on this assignment.
He has to shut down the ”Echelon Supercomputer”.
Some of the things we construct in our lives for our own advantage often end up harming us.
Excessive use of technology, including mobile phones, can be dangerous. This is the message that the film concludes on.
